Melina Sarasota is proud to provide 34 apartments within the community as workforce housing. To qualify for this program, all applicants need to meet the standard Greystar Qualifications and not exceed the Workforce Housing Income Limits of 120% AMI (Area Median Income) per the respective number of persons living in the home – see Qualifications below. Any applicant or household living in one of our workforce housing apartments can earn up to the following annual incomes.

120% Median family income cannot exceed $202,642 Rents for 120% median family income:

  • 1-bedroom base rent starting at $1600
  • 2-bedroom base rent starting at $2235
  • 3-bedoom base rent starting at $2370

To begin the application process and secure a spot on the resident waitlist, please present the following documents:

  • Completed application for every household member (18 years old+)
  • Income verification items (listed below)
  • Additional documents may be required depending on each applicant’s individual income and assets.

  • Complete application for every household member 18 years of age and older

Income verification items to include but not limited to:

  • 3 months’ worth of consecutive pay stubs within the last 120 days
  • Bank Statements (Optional Option of Income)
  • Tax Returns (Optional Option of Income)
  • Other potential Income – SSI, Child Support, Cash Gifts, etc.
  • Additional documents may be required depending on each person’s individual income and assets.
